First Team Meeting is October 24th at 1030 am. Chris Wilsman will host a tour of the newly renovated Deer Creek facility. We will update our Deer Creek Green Facility checklist with new initiatives since we last met *gasp* in 2009.

Seems we've reverted back to old habits. Good to talk about this at our first mtg.
Reducing Plastics
Community Resident Marjie Ettlinger has asked that the District look into reducing use of disposable water bottles (plastic) in our facilities. As some of you will remember, that was one of the initiatives of our last Green Team effort. Among our achievements: AYSO purchased reusable water bottles for its members; Park Board meetings started having water pitchers on hand (as did Heller Nature Center functions); District summer camps provided reusable bottles and "green" bag lunches. Ideas?
